Taicenn Technology has announced the latest modular industrial box PC, the TBOX-2DX5, equipped with 12th Generation Intel® Alder Lake-U processors, configurable with up to 10 cores (2P+8E) and 12 threads. The new TBOX-2DX5 offers a comprehensive, high-efficiency core structure and powerful multithread processing capabilities, providing users with a computing powerhouse designed for multitasking while maintaining efficient performance. The Intel® UHD or Iris Xe graphics deliver powerful graphics processing capabilities, enabling finer image display and visual data analysis.
The new TBOX-2DX5 modular, fanless embedded system continues the design concept of the TBOX-2XX5 series and offers a variety of I/O interfaces, including 2 GbE, 6 USB 3.0 and 2 USB 2.0, 6 COM, audio, GPIO (optional), 1 HDMI, and 1 DP++ for dual independent displays.
The fanless industrial computer supports TPM2.0 (PTT2.0) and Windows 11 operating systems, as well as 1 M.2 (NGFF) B-Key 3042/3052 slot and 1 M.2 (Key-E, 2230) slot, providing super-fast expansion options such as wireless WiFi/BT, 3G/4G/5G, Wi-Fi 6, and other industrial module connectivity. It can be an ideal solution for various industrial projects, including Machine-to-Machine (M2M), smart building automation, industrial automation, Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), smart manufacturing, Industry 4.0, and commercial automation.

Our new TBOX-2DX5 series industrial PCs utilize Intel's new 12th Gen. Alder Lake Core i3-1215U (2P+4E) cores at 1.2 GHz, Core i5-1235U (2P+8E) cores at 1.3 GHz, and Core i7-1255U (2P+8E) cores at 1.7 GHz processor options. Essentially, by combining both P-cores and E-cores, Intel’s performance hybrid architecture can more efficiently distribute core usage depending on the needs of a given application. The P-cores boost performance to handle complex workloads, while the E-cores focus on multithread throughput, managing less power-hungry tasks as needed.
Wide Operating Temperature Range and Rugged Power Input for Various Industrial Needs
The cooling system of the TBOX-2DX5 is designed to be fanless, ensuring efficient heat dissipation. It can operate within a wide temperature range from -20°C to +60°C. This rugged embedded system is equipped with a DC 12V power input and optionally supports a wide DC input range from 9 to 36V, offering expandable functions for various industrial applications.
